Day 19 White on White for The Paper Players

Well that is just ducky... after many false starts, it appears we will be getting between 5 and 10 centimetres of snow tonight. I just hope it's closer to 5, and it really does start to melt by noon, as forecast. I have had a really easy few days, and tomorrow through Christmas I have plans and errands to do. I was at the grocery store today and I saw these cakes on for half price during Appy Hour so I bought one for the ladies who come in every Friday and put together/distribute our worship folders at church. So I really want to get it to them. I was going to bring in a box of chocolates - preferably a kind they like and I don't so I wouldn't be tempted by them but they were giving out free samples at the front of the store, and I was sunk. Isn't that always the way? I cannot have this cake in my house. I will eat it.

Luckily I do have a good stack of unfinished cards and card kits I can work on to distract me. I did one tonight for the White on White Challenge for The Paper Players. I have to say that combo is really hard for me but I was determined to take part this time. I love the challenges at The Paper Players and I rarely get time to participate because the times didn't work for me.

I changed things up from the original kit. It contained a gold panel that completely covered the base. I saved that for a different card, which I'll photograph and post later.

Because this card came from a fundraiser kit and it didn't have product details included with it, I don't know what company the image is from. One day soon I hope to make another version using Dasher - either the original or the one that came in this year's Best of... set from SU. Not sure you can  tell, but the larger panel with the flourishes is raised with 3D Foam.

Back tomorrow with another card (and probably a weather report!).
