FTL 143

Second post of the day!  To see my card for Card Patterns 119/Crazy 4 Challenges 91, click here.

I absolutely love the sketches at Clean and Simple Stamping. They fit right in with my style. So glad I was able to get this card done today. It'll be my Dad's Father's Day card.  The colours are a little on the wild side, but he'll like it. He's a 'fun' guy. He's also a gardener, so he'll love the leaf image.

I got to the scrapbook store today and realized I had remembered everything I needed EXCEPT my 'Happy Father's Day' stamp. So I had to improvise and use some letter stamps.

Stamps: Le Jardin Botanique (SU)
Cardstock: Misc. Green (Bazzill) Taken With Teal(SU)
Paper: We R Memory Keepers
Ink: Wild Wasabi
Misc: SU border punch

What a great masculine card! Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. I wanted to email you but could not find an email address on your blog site. To answer your question my church is a big church and has a bookstore. I make cards for the store. I contacted the lady in charge and set something up with her. I don't make much money out of it but I enjoy doing it. I mostly make baby dedication, baptism, sympathy, praying for you, wedding, Mother's day, Father's day and grad. You could even look into a Christian bookstore in the area. I have sold my cards also at craft sales and been commissioned. I find that people do not understand how expensive it can be to make the cards and want it cheap. For me I make cards as a hobby not for the money but I have started to make card sets as gifts and save money in that way! Hope this helps! :>
