Another birthday card I made last week....
I love cropping with friends. I don't know why but I feel so much more creative. This card. admittedly, is a pretty clean and simple design. I am not going to colour the image this time because I don't have the time right now and the week is too busy.
I've actually been on a real roll with my cardmaking. I have 11 more Christmas cards done that I need to post by the 31st... I'll do them by set over the rest of the week. A few have images that need colouring and some need ribbon/embellishments of some sort. If I don't get the colouring/embellishing done, I'll do a 'before' and 'after' post.
The one thing I find difficult about making cards, and even scrapbooking, away from home is embellishing the work. I don't usually decide ahead of time what I'll be using for embellishments, so to take them means taking everythingI own in a certain category. It's too much work. So I make the basic project at the store, then take it home to finish embellishing.
