Scrapbook Sunday

Yes, I am finally back!

I have had a little problem with my CPU so I haven`t been able to upload pictures in the last few weeks. We were dusting and my poor CPU got knocked and took a little tumble. I have a wonderful friend whose son is very tech-savvy so he is going to take a look this week. The computer itself is working fine; whatever has happened does not seem to have impacted the memory or hard drive. Nothing has crashed. I just can`t get anything to fit in my USB  port, which means I when I take photos I can`t get them off the camera. I suppose I could go buy a new cable so I can take them off that way, but I`d prefer not to have to go there.

I initially thought I`d have the issue fixed by now, which is why it`s taken me so long to post anything. I don`t love many of the older projects I haven`t blogged from the past. Alas, they are all I have currently on the harddrive, so they will have to do for now.

I did this scrapbook page for a challenge sponsored by a local store and I didn`t get it posted in time. It was a sketch challenge. I can`t find the link to the original sketch, sadly. I also did another layout from this party using the same paper line, because I had so many pictures I loved and I couldn`t choose, but I also didn`t want to shrink them down.

This version of the layout isn`t the finished one... I changed the lettering for the title. I kept the 1 Is Fun title and the brad, but I used letters that were a bit bigger and easier to read. I have to say I`ve been a wee bit disappointed by the embellishments on the side, as the buttons fell off. I`ve fixed them.... it`s just annoying.

Journalling reads: A____`s birthday was quite a day for all! She loved the whole experience - in particular the cake! The way she dove into it was hilarious. Oh to be so free! I love this girl. Happy birthday A___G__!

How precious! What a cutie pie too! Love the composition, and the great papers (cute flowers too you made). I love the handwriten journaling as I think that makes them extra special.
