You've always got time for Tim Horton's...

A bonus picture because I forgot to post one yesterday....

When there was a scrapbook store near my place, I had a habit of going to Tim Horton's to pick up drinks for myself and my two friends who worked there. I had hoped that the one positive to come out of the demise of the store would be that I could kick my Tim's habit.

No such luck. Stopped at the drive thru and ordered a small hot chocolate and a cheese tea biscuit. Only to discover, to my sheer unadulterated horror, that not only were they out of said tea biscuits, they are no longer selling them. They now only have ham and cheese.

How is this possible? How can they expect me to go from the yummy goodness of a flaky, buttery, warm, cheesy biscuit, to one that is admittedly still cheesy, but now has bits of some processed, chewy faux meat product that is most assuredly not real ham? I do not know many things, but I do know ham. Some would argue that I am conneisseur of ham, having grown up with a mother and an aunt whose ham baking abilities put many professional chefs to shame.

I swear, if I were American, I would sue for pain and suffering. It is an injustice, I tell you. A tragic, horrific, unspeakable injustice has been put upon the Canadian public. We really need to at the very least lodge a formal protest. Start a petition.

Bring back the plain cheese tea biscuit!
