As I type this post, I'm looking out my window, trying to see if I can figure out what the weather is going to do. Every long weekend my church holds a camp out about 20 minutes away from here. I went up both Friday night and yesterday afternoon, and I think I'm going to head up there this afternoon, too. I'd like to partake in one more campfire and marshmallow roast before summer ends.
My card today is a thank you card that I sent to a family friend. When my uncle died at the start of August, lots of people were wonderful to my aunt. Some made meals and some were just there to offer a supportive ear. Well, there is one lovely lady who makes a raspberry cheesecake I just adore. Since she and her daughters were making a meal for my aunt & cousins, she also made me the cheesecake. So I had to send her a card.
I've had this card in my stash for a while. It was made at one of our card nights at the Stamper's 10 group I used to attend. The background is made by brayering the cardstock and then stamping with water.
