I didn't actually make anything Saturday. I've finished reorganizing my scraps, and I will need to find a new accordion case or something for them... the current one has seen better days. No pics of the new scrap arrangement yet, as I want to finish the rest of the space reorganization. I'm happy to say I found a new, better location for my 8.5x11 cardstock! I'm also still getting my stamps unmounted.
Given that, today I'm going to share with you an altered clipboard I made. It was a gift for the principal at the elementary school where we run a floor hockey program for kids age 7-13. She moved on to a new job in the fall so there was a going away assembly for her in June 2012.
I didn't actually come up with the design; I bought a kit at Scrapbookin Adventures, where I tend to do most of my shopping. I hadn't actually planned on taking the class/buying the kit until I thought I'd misplaced the gift I originally made for this person. It was an altered journal. Of course, 3 days after the assembly, said journal turned up. I decided to keep it for myself. My camera's charging at the moment so I'll take a picture later.
All the paper and stickers from the kit are by Crate. I don't know about the rest of the elements, or at least I don't remember, and I don't have the instruction sheet anymore to look it up.

cute clipboard! and wow... unmounting... i thought about it but i like wood and don't NEEEED the space yet. good luck!!!
Sounds like a great group you have to crop with! Time always seems to fly when you are creating with friends! What a great clipboard! I think the embellishments are perfect. I haven't tried kits before, but I love how everything goes together so well. Enjoy the evening!
What a great clipboard. I am sure she is going to love it.
Im so envious of your crop time with the girls. What a great way to spend the day.

Very cute, love the patterned paper!
Great job on the clipboard! Glad you had a great time at the crop!
What a fabulous project. I don't unmount my stamps because I usually end up selling them at some point so I like to leave them as is. I do like all the new unmounted ones though and that's what I tend to buy now or digitals.
what a great idea!
