TSG 97 - Get Krafty!

Just a short post tonight. I want to get this card posted for the latest TSG challenge - I am rather happy I've managed to post two challenge cards before a deadline this week.

This card was made at a 13 card class at Scrapbookin' Adventures, the closest I have to a local scrapbook store. These were all Jenn's design, including the paper choices, I must confess. I was looking for a way to make this one a bit more unique but couldn't think of anything. When I find my dew drops I'd add one on each end of the sentiment. Just don't have time to look tonight and I wanted this up before the deadline.

I do love the card classes at SA. That was where I fell in love with Tombow markers and the Tombow blender pen. This time the class was not technique heavy - it was just a way to make a baker's dozen of Thank You cards in 2 1/2 hours, while also trying out these new sentiment stickers the store is now carrying. It was neat to see how quick and easy to use they are. They look quite good; in fact, my friend thought they looked like rub ons. Biggest difficulty was getting them on straight, but really... I think that's a 'me' problem, not an issue with the stickers.

I definitely see myself buying a few packs for those times I've forgotten I need a birthday card on a  Sunday morning, oh, 20 minutes before I need to leave for church.

As to the issue of how often I've found myself in that situation?

Ask me no questions, I will tell you no lies. ;)

I'll post the other cards tomorrow.

Card details: Cardstock: Kraft, blue (American Crafts, Coredinations); Patterned paper: Basic Grey Hopscotch; Stickers(SRM); Misc ribbon, punch

Great card! That is a great design that looks fantastic and can be put together in relatively little time. Thanks for the great idea.
